The National Cadet Corps (NCC) works to inculcate the qualities of discipline and patriotism among youth of the nation. Our College has an army wing with a total of 104 cadets who are groomed under the guidance of Ms.Shefali Kataria Assistant Professor in English. Here are the highlights of achievements and camps attended by the cadets during the session 2020-21.

  • COVID-19 training done by all the cadets so that they can spread awareness amongst their family, friends and relatives.
  • To spread awareness among the masses regarding covid-19 cadets indulged themselves in various activities like: making masks at home, homemade sanitizer. Cadets also made videos and collage for mass awareness and posted them on social media.
  • Various cadets joined a 4 week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on cooperative learning pedagogy under online mentoring program of UNESCO.
  • International Yoga Day- 21st June 2020- Webinar attended by all the cadets. Videos and photos were also shared on social media.
  • Online EBSB Camp- Online EBSB camp was attended by Cadet Shalini to understand the culture of other states.
  • Poster Making- Various Posters made by cadets on different topics and were posted on social media:-

  • Aatmanirbhar Bharat – PPT and videos made by cadets on aatmanirbharbharat.
  • Disaster Management Course – 3 days disaster management online course done by 2nd year cadets.

  • Fit India Freedom Run- Participation made by all the cadets to make our India fit in this pandemic period. Fit India Freedom campaign lasted for 2 months.
  • Annual Training Camp- 4th February to 6th February
  • 11 Cadets participated in online World Health Day on 7th April, 2021.
  • 40 Cadets attended webinar on Dr. Ambedkar’s life journey on 14th April,2021.
  •  An online session on ‘Spectrum of Opportunities in Indian Air Force’ was organized on 29th April wherein many cadets participated.
  • Cadets participated in online yoga session on International Yoga Day 21st June, 2021.
