Admission Instructions

BA- l (General) lst Year (Semester System) study programme consists of two Compulsory subjects and three Elective subjects
Compulsory subjects -
1 English
2 Punjabi OR History and Culture of Punjab
The following students can opt for History and Culture of Punjab -
* Those who are not domicile of Punjab and have not studied Punjabi language upto 10th class.
* Wards of Defence personnel,Central Government employees and Employees who are transferable on All India basis.
* Foreign students.

Elective Subjects -
A student is required to take up three elective subjects in all,selecting not more than one subject from one set of the combinations given below. For example, Elective English ,Economics, Political Science is a right combination.Elective English, Hindi, Economics is a wrong selection.

Scanned Documents (in PDF Format) to be uploaded along with the application form are:

  • 10th DMC
  • 12th DMC
  • Aadhar Card
  • Semester DMC's for PG Classes and Old students
  • Character Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate, if applicable
  • Gap Year Certificate , if applicable
  • Anti-ragging Affidavit: Students are required to upload and attach the Anti-ragging declaration affidavit.

Steps to complete the form: [update as you have made it]

  • Step 1 - Personal Details (Name and D.O.B should be as per 10th DMC)
  • Step 2 - Subject Selection
  • Step 3 - Previous Examination
  • Step 4 - Upload Documents
  • Step 5 - Preview of complete form and Final Submission
  • Step 6 - Payment of Online Admission Application Form (through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking or FreeCharge Account).

(Note: If you fill the Category as SC, ST, OBC or any other Reservation , you have to upload a supporting document. Thus, fill the information carefully. After final submission, no changes in the Admission Form is permitted)

There is no need to submit the hard copy of the Application Form until the COVID-19 situation eases. You can submit it whenever the College opens along with all the required documents (original  as well as photocopied).

Student will be required to submit her College Admission Fee online within the stipulated time. In case the student fails to do so, the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate. Class Roll Number will be alloted only if the student pays her College Fee on time.
